You will join a world-class team of engineers and data scientists from Facebook, Uber, Amazon and Google. We are a fast growing consulting firm based in Toronto with clients ranging from leading startups building impactful technologies to Fortune 500 companies looking to scale their engineering and data capabilities. 

We are looking for an experienced, fractional, HR lead for our growing tech startup. You should be experienced with leading a small but growing HR operation (either by yourself or with others), and under minimal supervision. More specifically, we are looking for someone to:

• Assist in the development and integration of policies, employee handbooks, and other documents 
• Initiate and lead HR related programs and projects
• Help to resolve complex HR situations as they arise
• Select and implement suitable HR technologies where appropriate

• Proven success as a HR lead
• In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
• Tech savvy with working knowledge of common HR tools (ATS, Payroll etc.)
• Excellent communication skills

You must be familiar with operating, leading and managing an HR operation within Canada.
