$20+ per hour (depending on experience)

The General Laborer will perform various skilled duties in building trades, such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical work, appliance repair, boiler, and HVAC repair to maintain, repair or remodel buildings and facilities. 

The team works together to ensure the best possible customer service is provided to our clients and that they are satisfied. This position will support interior and exterior services while being mindful of the safety and security of the property and people who may be on the premises.

This is a full-time position: Monday – Friday, with some flexibility on weekends.

Duties:

• Work with team members to diagnose, assess & repair issues with electrical, plumbing, A/C, heating, HVAC, appliances, tile, carpet, walls and flooring
• Renovate properties according to terms of contract while not compromising safety and regulations
• Ensure successful completion of assignments
• Have thorough knowledge of repair, maintenance and construction techniques and of the tools, methods, practices, materials and equipment used in the construction and mechanical trades

• 2+ years of on the job experience (commercial experience is a plus)
• Valid drivers’ license
• Strong communication skills: read/write/speak
• Ability to prioritize urgent projects and work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to climb ladders throughout the workday.
• Ability to be a team player who can work independently with minor supervision as well as part of a team
