Job Description
Reports to: Chief Communications Officer
Works closely with: Marketing, public relations, and publications staff
Classification: Full-time (1.0 FTE); Exempt
Worksite: AMS office in New York City (preferred) / Remote considered
Areas of focus include:
· Stakeholder communications: email newsletters, comprehensive conference programs, annual reports, press releases, organization magazine, brochures, etc.
· Web copy
· Press relations
· Photo and video shoots
· Scriptwriting
· Project management
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a related field
· Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in communications
· Excellent writing and editing skills in print and digital media
· Superlative organization skills
· Experience in project management

· Experience in creating and executing digital newsletters
