Job Description
Reporting to the General Accounting Supervisor, with whom they work closely, the incumbent actively participates in the monthly analysis of general ledger accounts.
What you’re responsible for:
- Perform bank reconciliations;
- Prepare journal entries;
- Process billing;
- Process accounts payable;
- Complete petty cash and general ledger reconciliations;
- Maintain regular communication with branch managers;
- Provide excellent customer service;
- Work closely with all members of the department;
- Perform any other related duties.
Qualifications
To Join Our Team:
- College diploma or vocational diploma (DEC or DEP) in accounting;
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar position; experience in the retail industry is considered an asset;
- Good general understanding of computer systems and accounting software;
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles;
- Ability to manage a high volume of work;
- Ability to quickly adapt to different situations;
- Ability to work simultaneously with multiple branches;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Bilingualism in English and French is required.
