Job Description

We are currently looking for a Pipefitting Labourer to join our team in Amos.

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to work in a shop specializing in the preparation and fabrication of piping systems for the mining industry.

As a Pipefitting Labourer at AIM MineSource, you will join a fast-growing company that is firmly established within the Abitibi mining community. You will work in a dynamic environment backed by the extensive expertise and experience of our founders while benefiting from opportunities for professional development.

What you will be responsible for :

  • Prepare, measure, cut, and groove steel pipes using mechanical tools and equipment;
  • Safely handle and move materials throughout the shop;
  • Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment and work tools;
  • Complete production records and ensure accurate tracking of completed work;
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety standards;
  • Perform any other related duties required to support shop operations.

    Qualifications

    To join our team :

    • You have 1 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing shop or industrial environment;
    • You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work;
    • You have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements;
    • You are eager to learn and develop your skills;
    • You are versatile and willing to perform a variety of operational tasks;
    • You work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
    • You are physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
