Company Description

As the Loss Prevention Coordinator and DCE System Support, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating incident and accident files related to mobile vehicles, as well as supporting and monitoring electronic logging device (DCE) systems across AIM sites in Canada and the United States. You will work closely with operations, transportation, compliance, maintenance, legal, and IT teams to ensure thorough follow-up and adherence to best practices across the network.

What you’re responsible for: 

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for managing accident files and coordinating follow-up with all involved parties;
  • Analyzing accident reports and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the information contained within them;
  • Consolidating information and working with the compliance and road safety team to identify improvement opportunities and prevent recurring accidents;
  • Maintaining an up-to-date list of insurable assets and coordinating with the insurance broker for additions, removals, and annual renewal of AIM’s insurance certificates and those of its subsidiaries;
  • Acting as the technical support resource for the proper functioning of the electronic logging device (DCE) system;
  • Maintaining updated tracking of DCE units in operation and supporting inventory management to ensure smooth transportation operations;
  • Participating in the improvement of the database and information recorded within the DCE system.

Job Description

To join our team:

  • You have a DEC in logistics or business administration, along with 2 years of experience in accident or insurance management, or any equivalent experience.
  • You have experience managing an electronic logging device (DCE) system.
  • You have strong data handling skills and are proficient in Excel.
  • You are bilingual (French and English, spoken and written).
  • You are organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
  • You are a strong communicator and demonstrate professionalism in your interactions with colleagues, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
