Job Description

What you're responsible for:

  • Receiving, sorting, and organizing non-ferrous metals; classifying and grading materials accurately.
  • Performing equipment inspections and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
  • Operating forklifts as needed for loading/unloading trucks and preparing shipments.
  • Accurately weighing, tracking, and entering material data into in-house software systems.
  • Providing excellent customer service, including assisting customers and answering inquiries.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and maintain a safety-oriented mindset in all tasks.

Qualifications

  • You have strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently show up on time.
  • You have basic computer operation skills; comfortable with data entry and software use.
  • You are self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • You are physically capable of handling moderate labor in varied working conditions.
  • You are a confident communicator with good people skills and a competitive mindset.
  • You are willing to learn forklift operation; prior metal industry experience preferred.
