Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated DZ Tow TruckDriver to join our team in Ajax, Ontario from Monday-Friday starting at 9:00am. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles, enjoy hands-on work and providing exceptional customer service.
What you’re responsible for:
- Safely transporting customers' vehicles from point of pick up to the branch
- Maintain accurate records of towing assignments, including vehicle information, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any special instructions
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck and equipment to ensure safe operation
- Performing labouring tasks that may including depollution, tire dismounting, etc
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and customers to coordinate towing activities
- Providing our customers with excellent customer service!
Qualifications
To join our team:
- Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving abstract and CVOR
- Valid Tow Driver certification
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role
- Knowledge of towing laws, regulations, and safety procedures
- Ability to operate and maneuver a tow truck safely in various road and weather conditions
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
