Job Description

Work schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours)
Travel: (80% of time on the road). The remaining 20% will be remote.
Permanent: Full-time position
Territory : Ajax to Peterborough (Territory can include Newmarket , Mississauga, Scarborough, Etobicoke etc.) 

Under the supervision of the Business Development Manager, the Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing the market in the GTA for Kenny U-Pull in terms of used vehicle purchases (recycling, wholesale and retail). The incumbent must develop good relationships with the various suppliers while constantly seeking new customers. 

The Outside Sales Representative works closely with the call center and logistics team and seeks to exceed purchasing goals. Primary responsibilities include : 

  • Solicit customers and develop its own customer base (e.g. dealerships, garages, body shops, impound yards, auctions);
  • Build lasting relationships throughout the automotive and recycling industry;
  • Prospecting in person, on the phone, by email and via social media;
  • Negotiate purchasing conditions;
  • Ensure good communication with other departments.

Qualifications

  • Hold a postsecondary diploma;
  • Have a valid G class driver's license and a good driving record;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in outside sales and prospecting;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Numeracy and mental math skills;
  • Relationship building acumen;
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
