As a Summer Labourer, you'll play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll get hands-on experience working with metal materials, all while learning about the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Job Description

• Sorting, picking, and processing scrap metals
• Clean and inspect recycling yard by sweeping and raking materials and debris 
• Perform other general labourer duties as assigned
• Directing customer traffic during busy periods

• Must be a current student or have recently finished school/college
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow safety protocols
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience will be considered an asset, but is not required

• Temporary, full-time position
• May to August
• Flexible hours – including weekends

What we offer:

• $17.50/hour

Health and Safety:

• Must work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and follow in accordance with AIM Recycling's Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Responsible for reporting all accidents, illnesses, or ‘near miss’ incidents to management
