We are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent General Labourer for our Steel City Court location in Hamilton. The successful candidate will be;

• Sort the different metals according to their characteristics
• Prepare the material to meet the quality criteria (e.g., aluminum cutting)
• Work with different types of machinery, (Forklift)
• Ensure that the premises always remain clean
• Assist in the loading and unloading of customer vehicles
• Participate in shipping tasks
• Assist with torch cutting as needed
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform other tasks depending on business needs, overtime if necessary

• Minimum 12 months experience as a laborer
• Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
• Knowledge of metals (an asset) • Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, plugs, helmets, gloves, etc.)
• Health and Safety Awareness
• Must be in good physical condition
• Must be meticulous and enjoy repetitive work

HEALTH AND SAFETY
