Job Description

Reporting to the Business Development Director, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing the used car purchasing facet of the Kenny U-Pull market by developing strong relationships with suppliers and constantly searching for new clients. The Inside Sales Representative works closely with the car buying team, logistics team and strives to surpass purchasing objectives. 

  • Solicit clients over outbound calling (90%) and Inbound (10%) calls to develop his/her own client base;
  • Build solid relationships within the automobile and recycling industry;
  • Follow up on client leads by telephone and email and texting;
  • Generate leads for Buyers on the road as well as for the Wholesale Team;
  • Negotiate purchasing terms and delays;
  • Communicate effectively and promptly with other departments.

Qualifications

  • New graduates are welcome!  
  • College diploma required, university degree is an asset;  
  • At least 5 years experience in sales;   
  • At least 2 years experience in business development;  
  • Experience in prospecting;  
  • Ability and ease in developing relationships with people;  
  • High level of negotiation skills;  
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is a strong asset;  
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;  
  • Good with numbers and mental calculations;  
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and Excel;  
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.

Additional Information

  • Permanent, full-time position;
  • Monday to Friday work schedule;
  • Hybrid office/at-home position.
