Job Description

The QA Coordinator reports directly to the Corporate QA Director located in Montreal, Canada.

Tasks and responsibilities

According to quality management procedures established by AIM, the Coordinator will among other things, perform:

·  Participate in the analysis and root cause of non-conformities; Report on the quality indicators;

·  Audit AIM’s processes, support production departments concerning quality issues, daily quality inspections;

·  Data entry of different quality customer’s request/specifications;

·  The communication of analysis results;

·  Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and workplaces;

·  Follow-up on equipment calibration;

·  Ensure documentation and certification of products is performed and accurate;

·  Implementation of internal KPI’s;

·  Participate in planning of the setup of new equipment and processes;

·  Supporting in implementing process and department procedures;

·  Act as a technical substitute by interim for the laboratory technician- conduct chemical tests on metallic samples(Analysis of solid samples with the Arc Emission Spectroscopy preferred) , solder paste, solder flux and QA/QC.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

·  University degree in Engineering  (Mechanical, Chemical-preferred  or any related fields)

·  Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry in a similar role

·  Strong leadership and ability to make things happen

·  Ability to convince and find solutions

·  Responsible, independent, meticulous, organized

·  Available to work on flexible working hours when required

·  Familiar with ISO9001 / ISO 17025 / IATF16949 / Statistical process control

·  Knowledge of Excel, Word, Access ,Power Point

Assets

·  Experience in analytical laboratory duties

·  Knowledge of the automotive environment (APQP, MSA, SPC)

·  Knowledge in lean manufacturing application tools

·  Experience as auditor for ISO regulations
