Job Description

Reporting directly to the Operation Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the finance department and the payroll function of the plant.

Responsabilities

To handle full set of accounts, prepare monthly closing and financial reports independently under minimum supervision;

To ensure accounting records and systems comply with the company's policies, approved accounting standards, related statutory / tax requirements;

Receivables collection and handling payables;

Maintaining record and carrying out monthly audits of company assets (including but not limited to stocks, cash and fixed assets);

Calculating standard costing and analysing discrepancies of products manufactured.

To liaise with auditors, tax agents and to coordinate the annual statutory audit;

To assist Company Secretary in tasks of compliance of different rules and regulations that govern the company;

Responsible for payroll, staff attendance, overtime payments of the plant;

To assist / handle any ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the management.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum possess a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent;

Experience: Minimum 2 years (preferably in manufacturing environment)

Language Skills: Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in

Mandarin is an added advantage;

Technical Skills: Ability to handle full set of accounts;

Computer skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Power Point)
