• Design, develop and maintain highly scalable database application supporting high transaction volumes. 
• Your primary focus will be developing all facets of database engineering like design, documentation, implementation, testing, and automation. 
• You will be responsible for integrating front-end elements into the backend batch applications.
• You will work and collaborate with a cross-functional team of core claims platform, application owners & infrastructure teams. 
• Also securing systems by establishing and enforcing defined security policies.

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience. 
• 7+ years of experience in database related technologies. 
• Must have Experienced in Oracle Database, database modeling, and design.
• Proficient in SQL/Plsql coding and performance tuning skills. 
• Experience in replication related to Oracle Database. Dev Ops Experience is desired. 
• Experience on Linux Platform specifically scripting experience in Bash, Python and/or Perl.
• Proficiency with Git/Github or other distributed version control systems.
• Experience with Scrum, Agile Process Nice to have Contributions to open source projects. 
• Capable of quickly troubleshooting complex problems, understanding dependencies and deducing the root cause of issues.
