Company Description

ABOUT ACF

ACF’s mission is to support and advocate for individuals and groups creating music today by demonstrating the vitality and relevance of their art. We do this by empowering composers, modeling creative partnerships, and advocating for artists through storytelling and convenings. Working with an ecosystem of artists, programmers, presenters, teachers, funders, and audiences, we frame all of our work with a commitment to antiracism, believing that cultural and political context for our artmaking enables us to engage in important societal discourse.

Our commitment to being an antiracist organization guides us and our work. The ACF Board and staff engage in continued, intentional learning about practicing principles of antiracism, addressing ongoing harmful systems of capitalism and colonialism. We seek to attract candidates with similar priorities and values. (A revised statement of commitment is in progress under the guidance of consultant Justin Laing.)
