Job Description

  • Execute month-end closing process and running of reports

  • Demonstrate solid understanding of the balance sheet account reconciliation process; complete accurate and compliant reconciliations in accordance with company requirements, Prepare consolidated financial statements for management as needed

  • Responsible for ensuring that GL offsets and supporting source adjustments are identified and cleared prior to deadline; follow-up on timely clearing of all reconciling transactions

  • Work effectively with other departments and outside parties to resolve invoice payment issues

  • Review and approval of journal entries in system

  • Serve as team lead in with respect to the day to day work performed by the staff accountants

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and G/L, A/P, A/R structure

  • Ensure timely month-end closing

  • Review, adjust, and prepare all year end financials

  • Interact with vendors and review vendor aging report

  • Process and review accounting transactions daily

  • Reconcile discrepancies from the sub-ledger to the general ledger

  • Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities

  • Perform other administrative and ad-hoc reporting duties associate with the full-cycle Accounting procedure

Qualifications

Requirements:

•Qualified candidate must be fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese

•Work experience: current Accounting supervisor / Financial Analyst supervisor or manager position with a focus on Inventory, IC and/or GL accounts, especially with extended focus on or in charge of B/S Accounts Reconciliation + 3 years SAP experience.

•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required

•3+ years of accounting experience in logistics/transportation field

•3+ years supervisory/management experience

•Ability to train others, promote teamwork, and exhibit leadership skills

•Must have good written and verbal communication skills

•Strong analytical and problem solving skills

•Work under pressure to deadlines

•High degree of accuracy with a good eye for detail

•Self-motivated and proactive

•Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment
