Job Description

  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, efficient, cost-effective way
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operation protocols, Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Formulate and pursue strategic and operational objectives, Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
  • Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity,
  • Help the organization’s processes remain compliant with industry standards
  • Other duties as assigned by Manage Team

Qualifications

  • Ample Experience in either logistics, freight forwarding, sales, or purchase
  • Mandarin Chinese preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field

Travel from TX to CA from time to time. First 3 months of training will be held in City of Industry, CA.

Pay is between $80,000-$92,000/year plus year end bonus.
