Job Description

Responsibilities: •

 

 Conserves manager's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; initiating telecommunications

• Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text and data • Verbal and written translation of reports and documents in Chinese

• Maintains manager's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel

• Prepare and submit manager's expense report

• Prepare and distribute reports as needed by collecting and analyzing information

• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential

• Responsible for A/R, A/P, and resolution of discrepancies with vendors

• Budget setting and communicating budget expectations to the team

• Reviews vendor contracts/purchase orders/invoices to ensure of proper coding and accruals

• Account and report analysis

• Prepares and/or reviews journal entries to ensure of their propriety and accuracy

• Examines work to ensure conformance to policies and procedures, including work paper documentation

• Identifies and resolves problems and inconsistencies and determines corrective procedures

• Communicates and coordinates accounting policies, practices and procedures with the department and company managers and officials, vendors and reporting agencies

• Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency within the group

• Reviews daily, weekly, monthly financial reports as assigned or requested

• Performs other job related duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

•MUST SPEAK/READ/WRITE CHINESE (Mandarin)

•BA/BS in Accounting or Finance

•At least 1 year experience supporting C-level executives

•Advanced computer and technology skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, search engines

•Must have a strong internal customer service attitude—excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships

•Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Experience working with highly confidential and/or sensitive materials

•Answer phones, manage voicemail and appropriately respond to external calls

•Hands-on, high energy work ethic, with an ability to work very effectively as part of an administrative team, and with all levels of the company

•Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks seamlessly and with excellent attention to detail

•Must be able to demonstrate forward thinking, problem solve, and propose solutions

•Must be highly resourceful with the ability to be effective independently and with little direction

•CPA preferred

•Tax and Audit experience preferred
