Job Description

The Account Coordinator is responsible for assuring operational control within the department focusing on their account portfolio. This includes being responsible for meeting the demand of the suppliers, being a team player, ensuring pro-active communication to internal and external parties.
The Account Coordinator should have working knowledge of responsibilities of all involved parties in the consignment process.

  • Liaise with Buyers on supplier orders
  • Answering phones and resolving customer queries
  • Communicate with and maintain positive relationships with all relevant parties both per phone and by email.
  • Responsible for arranging regular and ‘ad hoc’ transport of goods in various modalities, including truck, barge, rail, and/or sea-going vessels. This includes daily communication with these business partners to acquire the best result.
  • Completion of all daily workload for customer orders such as packing lists, purchase orders and loading documents.
  • Resolve service problems with suppliers and vendors during order fulfillment.
  • Resolve discrepancies when necessary.
  • Ensure correct CCIC process with arranging inspections and keeping track of the schedule.
  • Manage email folders for timely execution.
  • Minimize extra costs where possible through tracking of orders and managing expectations
  • Resolve extra cost cases. 
  • QRF and LSD management for all customer orders.
  • Ensuring SAP reporting is clean and concise, managing discrepancies and escalating when required.
  • Bought not booked reporting for order management
  • Giving feedback on office efficiency and suggesting possible improvements
  • Global mindset and cultural sensitivity
  • Support marketing to provide maximum turnover of purchase orders.
  • Resolve disputes, problem solving in execution of purchase orders

Qualifications

  • Approximately 2 – 3  years of relevant work experience required
  • A basic understanding of customer service and account coordination – preferably in the waste industry
  • Languages: English and (near) native Spanish & Italian
  • Fulltime available
  • Bachelors degree required.
