Job Description

  • Leads the preparation of the financial forecasts and budgets, including the identification of risks and opportunities
  • Analyze financial statements to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes to summarize and interpret the current and projected financial position for the company
  • Provide analytical support to senior leaders and their team to develop a full understanding of the organization’s strategic priorities
  • Partner with senior leaders to execute and improve financial planning, budgeting and reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reporting requirements
  • Drive continual improvement of reporting and processes with the goal of driving consistent, timely, and value-added analysis of management results
  • Responds to inquiries from senior management and other managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like
  • Develops and fosters a cross-functional team approach, providing financial management support to all levels of the business team
  • Submit recommendations for improving the company’s processes within both operations and finance
  • Provide decision support and handle ad hoc questions
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese
  • 10+ years of combined accounting experience in logistics, ocean freight, trucking
  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Graduate or Professional qualifications such as CPA, MBA, CIA preferred
  • SAP experience; advanced computer skills on MS Office
  • High attention to detail, with high level of ethics and integrity
  • Superior accounting and analytical capability to manage through large volumes of data
  • Responsiveness to quick turn-around requests for analytics and financial insights
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time
