Job Description
We are currently looking for PART TIME, Member Services Representatives for our Cherry Hill, NJ office. 2 shifts to choose from; either 9:00am-2:00pm OR 10:00am-3:00pm
20-25 hours per week. $14.00 per hour.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Member Services Representative receives inbound calls and responds to general Member inquiries, and Member complaints.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Core Competencies)
Member Services Representatives serve as the initial contact with our spending account participants. Responsibilities include:
Provide phone contact with participants, answering inquiries where appropriate and routing calls as needed
Maintain a detailed understanding of administrative systems.
Provide timely and accurate, high quality customer service to Members
Strive for first call resolution, if presented with Member complaints, while supporting the best interest of the Company and Clients
Research required information using available resources
Project a professional, positive company image
Handle distressed callers with tact and diplomacy
Identify and escalate priority issues
Follow up Member calls not immediately resolved
Recognize, document and alert the Team Manager of trends in Member calls
Recommend process improvements
Assist with mentoring of new hires
Maintain compliance on all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Complete other duties and special projects as assigned or requested by Management
Qualifications
Member Services Representatives must:
Possess the ability to navigate Internet based programs
Have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
Learn and be proficient with use of AmeriFlex systems
Have the ability to clearly explain a variety of products, policies, and procedures to our customers
Have the ability to quickly assess and address the needs of Members and to diffuse irate callers if necessary
Possess a pleasant demeanor
Work well within a team environment
Exhibit strong communication skills, written and verbal
CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED required; 2 years Customer Service experience in a call center environment required. Benefits administration or insurance industry experience, a plus. Bilingual skills, a plus.
