Job Description

We are currently looking for PART TIME, Member Services Representatives for our Cherry Hill, NJ office.  2 shifts to choose from; either 9:00am-2:00pm OR 10:00am-3:00pm

20-25 hours per week.  $14.00 per hour.


POSITION SUMMARY:
The Member Services Representative receives inbound calls and responds to general Member inquiries, and Member complaints. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Core Competencies)
Member Services Representatives serve as the initial contact with our spending account participants.  Responsibilities include:  
    Provide phone contact with participants, answering inquiries where appropriate and routing calls as needed
    Maintain a detailed understanding of administrative systems.
    Provide timely and accurate, high quality customer service to Members
    Strive for first call resolution, if presented with Member complaints, while supporting the best interest of the Company and Clients
    Research required information using available resources
    Project a professional, positive company image
    Handle distressed callers with tact and diplomacy
    Identify and escalate priority issues
    Follow up Member calls not immediately resolved
    Recognize, document and alert the Team Manager of trends in Member calls
    Recommend process improvements
    Assist with mentoring of new hires
    Maintain compliance on all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
    Complete other duties and special projects as assigned or requested by Management


Qualifications

Member Services Representatives must:
    Possess the ability to navigate Internet based programs
    Have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
    Learn and be proficient with use of AmeriFlex systems
    Have the ability to clearly explain a variety of products, policies, and procedures to our customers
    Have the ability to quickly assess and address the needs of Members and to diffuse irate callers if necessary
    Possess a pleasant demeanor
    Work well within a team environment
    Exhibit strong communication skills, written and verbal

CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED required; 2 years Customer Service experience in a call center environment required.  Benefits administration or insurance industry experience, a plus. Bilingual skills, a plus.
