We are seeking an experienced Shopify Developer to join our team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Shopify-based e-commerce websites. Your expertise in Shopify customization, theme development, and app integration will be instrumental in delivering high quality online shopping experiences for our clients & customers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Develop and customize Shopify themes and templates based on client specifications, ensuring responsive design and optimal user experience across devices.
• Implement and extend Shopify functionality using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other related technologies.
• Integrate third-party applications and plugins to enhance website functionality, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring websites are error-free and perform efficiently.
• Optimize website performance, including page load speed, SEO, and overall site responsiveness.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement visual and interactive elements, ensuring seamless integration of design and functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, industry trends, and best practices, and propose innovative solutions to improve website performance and user experience.
•  Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, reviewing their code and providing constructive feedback.
• Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and suggest architectural enhancements to maintain code quality and scalability.
• Collaborate with the support team to investigate and resolve customer issues and inquiries related to Shopify websites.

• Proficiency in Shopify development, including theme customization, app integration, and API utilization.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery. • Experience with responsive design techniques and mobile optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Solid understanding of web development principles, including cross browser compatibility, performance optimization, and SEO best practices.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Shopify development.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Shopify.
• Graduate/post graduate e.g. BSC/MCA/BE in computer science, IT.
