This programme produces well-rounded engineering professionals with both the technical and soft skills needed to thrive in a dynamic tech environment. Learners collaborate in agile teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and improvement. They work together to solve complex problems, share knowledge and expertise, and deliver high-quality solutions. This collaborative approach empowers learners to develop their skills, build confidence, and become valuable contributors to the team.
AWS cloud knowledge is a key requirement for the 2025 National Service Programme. Therefore, all shortlisted applicants must possess at least an AWS Cloud Practitioner certificate. To help you meet this requirement, you can choose one of the following options:
Option 1: AmaliTech AWS re/Start Programme: University Students Edition
- Earn the Cloud Practitioner certification alongside your regular studies through this 15-week Programme.
- This option is recommended for National Service Programme applicants.
Option 2: Fast-Track Cloud Practitioner Certification Programme
- Earn the Cloud Practitioner certification in a fast-track program (up to 4 weeks) that runs concurrently with the National Service Programme.
- This option is for shortlisted applicants who cannot commit to the 15-week programme before joining the National Service Programme.

Hiring Process
Online Enrolment: Complete the online form.
Specialisation: Choose your preferred specialisation from the following options:
- Frontend development: Build beautiful, interactive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Backend development: Develop the server-side logic and infrastructure that powers web and mobile applications.
- DevOps: Automate and streamline the software development and deployment process.
- Data engineering: Extract, transform, and load large datasets to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Mobile app development: Build native and cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android devices.
- Quality assurance engineering: Ensure the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing and analysis.
- Cybersecurity: Protect computer systems and networks from cyber threats and attacks.
- UI/UX design: Create user-centered designs that are both beautiful and functional.
Location: Choose your preferred working location (Accra, Takoradi, or Kumasi).
Submit Documents: Submit the following documents:
- Resume: Highlight your education, internships, work experience, and any relevant projects you've worked on.
- University programme information: Include your programme name, major, and expected graduation date.
- Transcripts: Provide an official copy of your academic records.
- National ID: Submit a copy of your valid Ghanaian national ID.
- GitHub profile: Required for all engineering applicants. Showcase your coding projects and contributions to open-source repositories.
- Behance profile: Required for UI/UX design applicants. Demonstrate your design skills and portfolio of work.
Application Screening: Your application will be reviewed to assess your qualifications and suitability for the programme.
Online Assessment:
- Engineering applicants: Complete the online general coding assessment (due 1 week from the date of receipt; pass mark 300/600). The assessment will focus on programming fundamentals, data structures and algorithms, problem-solving critical thinking
- UI/UX design applicants: Complete the online design aptitude test (due 1 week from the date of receipt; pass mark 75/100). The online assessments will test your knowledge and skills in the following areas: design principles and concepts, user experience research and testing, design tools, and software.
Interview Selection: Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews based on a weighted scoring system that considers their online assessment score, CGPA, education (degree or diploma type), internship experience (duration and relevance), and the quality of their project portfolio.
Online Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a 45-minute online interview. During the interview, we'll assess your technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. We'll also discuss your career goals and how you see yourself contributing to AmaliTech.
Final Decision: You will receive an email notification of the final application decision within an average of 2 weeks of applying. We understand that the application process can be stressful, so we will do our best to communicate with you throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Ghanaian citizen completing tertiary education by August 2025.
- Majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Resident of or able to relocate to Accra, Takoradi or Kumasi.
- Must be eligible for National Service in the 2025/2026 period.
- Passionate about starting a career in software or data engineering at AmaliTech.
