Job Description
A passionate and capable IT Infrastructure & Security individual to assist our IT team in the management of all infrastructure and security aspects for our locations in Takoradi and Accra. Detailed responsibilities include:
Manage technology services that meet daily operational requirements in AmaliTech designated area(s)
Installs and configures computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Configure, Setup and Install networks based on Cisco and Sophos Technologies
Reviews vendor contracts and coordinates IT purchases (hardware, software, and services) to ensure effective deployment of solutions aligned with user needs
Partake in risk assessments and provide utmost support in implementing regulatory standards
Monitor computer networks for security issues
Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents
Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs
Maintaining user and office machines, laptops, desktops, printers, and others
Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities
Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
Setting up and maintenance of conference and communication devices
Monitoring, responding to and addressing IT-related issues as it is raised in company incident management systems and help desk
Set up all hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, printers, monitors), operating systems and user applications
Manage users on Microsoft Azure Endpoint Manager and Active Directory
Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards
Provide IT support for UNIX/Linux and Windows systems
Interpret and assist backup as well as recovery processes along with industry standards
Conduct installation, migration, and upgrade of entire technology systems in a validated atmosphere
Perform within change control and ticketing system environment.
Assist with the tagging of all IT-related assets
Commitment to continuously learn, quickly adapt, and grow
Perform any other related duties that may be assigned to you by your superior as and when demanded
Qualifications
At least, you should possess the following:
At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role
HND or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Must possess at most Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, AWS cloud practitioner, CCNA (required), CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MTA IT, Microsoft Certified IT Professional and ITIL
Sophos Certified Architect or Sophos Certified Technician (Support)
