Job Description

The Finance and Controlling Analyst will perform accounting and finance roles with the highest form of integrity and professionalism under the direct supervision of the Head of Finance.

 

Position Details

Job Location: Takoradi, Ghana

Working Hours: 40 hours/week

Reports to: Head of Finance

Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Processing of invoices
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Assist with budget preparation and control
  • Accurate knowledge in taxation and pension laws
  • Management of account payables
  • Track bank deposits and payments
  • Review and implement financial policies
  • Any other duties that may be added from time to time and reports to the Head of Finance and Controlling.

Qualifications

Person Specification

  • An analytical mind
  • Negotiation skills
  • Good communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further
  • Ability to stick to time constraints
  • Good knowledge in IFRS, IAS, ISA
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field
  • Partly professional qualification as ICAG/ACCA/CIMA is an added advantage
  • Excellent in using MS Excel and Word
  • Good knowledge in procurement procedures and processes is an advantage
  • Six (6) years of practical experience performing similar duties in a finance/accounting department.
