Job Description

POSITION DETAILS

  • Job Location: Ghana
  • Working Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Reports To: Director of Operations, Ghana
  • Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience

JOB SUMMARY

The IT Trainer will essentially teach our trainees IT/Digital and soft skills required to serve our foreign customers, mainly in Europe. Trainers would also undergo job specific training in relation to specific jobs as the situation may demand for onward impartation to our trainees. Total Quality Management is paramount at every stage of this job in order to meet demands of our cherished customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The job holder would among other things be responsible for the following:
  • Teach our trainees IT/Digital and soft skills as well as job specific skills required to serve our cherished clients
  • Conduct IT skills gap analysis to determine problem areas that demand training
  • Undergo continuous training to acquire knowledge required to teach our trainees
  • Testing trainees to ensure they have a perfect grasp of concepts taught
  • Adopting learning methods that delight the trainee to ensure teaching effectiveness.

Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICATION

Generally, the job holder is expected to possess an advanced degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or similar fields and must have a minimum of two (2) years working experience in a similar role. Additionally, the job holder must have completed their mandatory one year of national service.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Advanced understanding of ICT
  • Advanced knowledge in programming languages such as Java and Python
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a team
  • High cognitive ability required to learn and impart knowledge to others
  • Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to explain technical terms plainly
  • A certification in IT training is essential
