America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space.
We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.

Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200 + years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid – large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices.

We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we’ll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.

The consultant shall be responsible for integrating multiple services (micro-services) with the CI/CD delivery chain. He will be required to configure orchestration, service discovery and deployment pipeline for such services on various cloud based environments. Consultant must be aware of modern software development, integration and delivery practices using DevOps and Agile methodologies. 

The position is based in Tampa, FL. The consultant shall be co-located with the development team in Tampa. This position requires hands-on work done in a fairly independent manner. 
Essential Skills 
• Extensive, hands on experience with Service Bus architecture, Oracle Service Bus preferred 
• Extensive, hands on experience with commonly used tools for CI/CD delivery, such as Jira, Jenkins, Ansible, Sonarcube, Fortify. Must have ability to create Jenkins jobs and Ansible playbooks. 
• Extensive, hands on experience with micro-service based service architectures and their components 
• Knowledge of security concerns in microservice architectures 
• General enterprise software development trade skills, familiarity with commonly used IDE’s, Unix operating system, commonly used databases (Oracle / MySQL / Informix / MongoDB), enterprise architectures and middleware (MQ / Weblogic / Service Bus), scripting and programming 
• Ability to work closely with global teams 
Desirable Skills 
• Hands on experience on any major public cloud platform (AWS preferred), or on any software virtualization platform (Docker / Cloudfoundry etc.) 
• Hands on experience in developing and deploying microservices 
• Ability to work with modern programming languages like Golang and Node.js
