Job Description

Treatment Coordinator Needed 

API is seeking a qualified clinician, licensed or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences/Board of Psychology to deliver group and individual psychotherapy for PATH. Alvarado Parkway Institute’s PATH program is a partnership with PATH Connections Housing. The facility is located in downtown San Diego.  Paid parking is included in employee compensation package for this location. The population served is homeless or at risk of homelessness mentally ill adults, including clients with dual diagnoses.

This is a full time position: the successful candidate will have sound clinical experience in the facilitation of group psychotherapy, have an ability to provide brief solution focused individual psychotherapy and have excellent documentation skills.  Familiarity in developing treatment plans, self-harm intervention plans, and conducting psycho-social assessments preferred. 

Qualifications

Master’s degree in social work, MFT, psychology, or equivalent master’s degree in a recognized mental health field.

Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology is required. Clinical supervision provided at no cost.

Bilingual preferred but not required.

Skilled in case management and time management
