Jackson House of El Centro Crisis Residential Program  

Jackson House El Centro is an affiliate of Alvarado Parkway Institute.

Jackson House is a highly structured, supportive, voluntary, short term acute residential treatment program. Our specialized and impassioned team of clinical and medical professionals provide individualized, evidence-based treatment interventions designed to equip our clients with skills to get well while learning to live well. Clients at Jackson House are supported as they work on symptom management, sleep hygiene, self-regulation, medication compliance, and living and relating in the real world. Jackson House is an alternative to acute inpatient hospitalization and a bridge to lower levels of care, charting a pathway home. Our team works with our clients loved ones and healthcare providers to develop a wellness action plan and ensure a seamless transition of care.

Job Description

Job Summary
Overall responsibility to administer, direct, and coordinate all activities of the behavioral health facility and staff. 

To carry out objectives of effective, efficient, and quality consumer care services; with the attainment of financial and operational goals. 

Promote new programs, and participate in the promotion of the facility’s services. 

Administer all facility operations within policies & procedures, regulations, contracts, company code of conduct, and general directives. 

Develop favorable community and facility relations, and negotiate for the improvement of the facility. 

Recommend and develop policies, guidelines and procedures for facility activities. 

Perform related administrative and supervisory duties to ensure efficient and effective operations of the behavioral health facility. 

Maintain a positive relationship with County. 

This position supervises the entire program.

Qualifications

Program Director Requirements and Qualifications 

Education and Experience: Masters prepared and licensed in healing arts or Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology preferred. One year of Behavioral Healthcare experience required. Must be eligible or certified in California as an Administrator for Residential Care Facilities. 2 years of supervisory experience in a medical facility. Valid California State Driver’s License.

Language and Cultural Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy/procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and document consumer behavior. Ability to speak effectively before groups of consumers or employees of organization. Bilingual preferred. Solid understanding of a variety of cultures and able to effectively communicate, understand and correspond with those cultures.
