API offers a variety of Outpatient Services designed to assist patients in functioning at the highest level. API provides Partial Hospitalization services and Intensive Outpatient services. These programs emphasize symptom management, community integration and prevention of hospitalization or re-hospitalization. Value added services enhance the patient's treatment experience. Registered Nurse - Full Time
Sign On Bonus Offered for a Limited Time - This position is Monday through Friday Day Shift
Supervises and monitors nursing care provided. Assures patient needs are managed and addressed in the plan of care. Interacts with other disciplines to assure quality care is provided within policies and parameters defined by the nursing management.
Administer and record medications given during shift of duty as prescribed by the medical staff.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients and establish a nursing plan of care based on assessment outcomes.
Complete required documentation according to established policies and procedures
Inform respective staff of changes in conditions, accurately document and transcribe physician orders and communicate orders to other departments according to established policies and procedures.
Attend in-service programs and staff meetings to keep current with nursing practice and facility policies.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Holds a current and active California state Registered Nursing license
- Previous outpatient experience in a psychiatric facility preferred
