Job Description

  • Works in conjunction with other outreach team members to assess new clients for admission to OPS programs. 
  • Seeks out potential referral sources and develops relationships to become the provider of choice. Maintains data related to contacts and outcomes on a weekly basis. 
  • Meets established targets for new contacts within specified time frame.
  • Assesses patients within 24 hours of referral.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a human services field, i.e., Psychology, Social Work, etc. is required.

Must be registered with the California State Board of Behavioral Science, or the California State Board of Psychology

  • The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience in working with adult psychiatric inpatient or outpatient services. 
  • Will have strong assessment skills and knowledge of available community resources to reach out to other service providers, family members, and potential clients to inform them of the services and programs available at Alvarado Parkway Institute. 
  • Demonstrates sound clinical knowledge of principles of substance abuse treatment, must have excellent assessment skills and knowledge of motivational interviewing. 
  • Participates in special events in conjunction with the marketing team, close collaboration with the multi-disciplinary treatment team and intake department.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to speak publicly with confidence.
