We are looking for an experienced IT Asset Manager to manage Altisource’ s IT asset inventory. If you are up for the challenge, keep reading!

Job Description

The IT Asset Manager is responsible for managing all of Altisource’ s inventory of IT hardware assets located centrally in our El Paso office as well as our software license inventory.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage ITAM lifecycle
  • Ensure effective controls of IT Hardware and Software Assets
  • Strong knowledge of industry practice for Software License Compliance
  • Support and govern Hardware Asset and Software License Management Process
  • Manage inventory of IT Hardware and Software
  • Track the usage of different software and govern compliance
  •  Ensure compliance of licensing terms for freeware and commercial software
  • Address day to day users’ business as usual questions and requests for hardware and software using Summit Service Desk tickets
  • Prepare and review reports on Hardware and Software usage, always looking for improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate and follow up with the vendor management team for new purchases, renewals, etc.
  • Conduct license and hardware audits periodically
  •  Approve the usage of commercial/ non-commercial software to users
  • Participate in project discussions and recommend/plan hardware and software needs
  • Ensure the hardware and software asset management processes are up-to-date and there are no gaps related to controls across environment with an objective of minimizing out of compliance risks and improvising quality
  • Effectively coordinate between ITAM and support teams to provide an excellent end user experience
  • Optimize hardware and software purchases from the technology and budget perspective
  • Ensure accurate and timely response to user requests within SLAs

Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2-3 years of experience managing Hardware and Software inventory
  • Good understanding of the different types of licenses (freeware, commercial, SaaS, etc) and usage
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to present a professional presence
  •  ITIL foundation certification or other ITAM certification would be a plus
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) experience required
  • Must work from Altisource’s El Paso office
