We are looking for an experienced Manager, Internal Audit reporting to Director, Internal Audit.

As the Manager, Internal Audit you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end audits. Drive innovation within the Audit and SOX team and generate fresh ideas to achieve the objective of the Audit and SOX team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

·       Manage internal audits of business processes and support functions

·       Ensure timely completion of the audits per the Annual Internal Audit Plan

·       Review all stages of the audit life cycle and ensure adequacy of risk coverage in audits

·       Delegate work to team members and review work done

·       Provide timely coaching and feedback on areas of improvement

·       Evaluate and review critical processes to identify design and operating exceptions/ findings

·       Communicate exceptions/ findings accurately and timely to all stakeholders.

·       Work with stakeholders to confirm factual accuracy of exceptions/ findings

·       Track exceptions/ findings to closure

·       Monitor the resource utilization, and constantly motivate the team to perform at the highest level

·       Track progress per the plan and provide periodic status report to Senior Management

  • Identify cost savings and/or automation opportunities

·       Assist the SOX Compliance team to achieve the annual SOX Compliance Plan

·       Provide inputs to Audit Committee presentation

·       Manage excellent stakeholder relationship

 

Key Result Areas:

•         Take ownership of and ensure timely completion of the Annual Internal Audit Plan

•         Ensure adequacy of risk coverage in each of the audits

•         Ensure the testing results and documentation meet the reperformance standard

•         Value added and improve the quality of the Internal Audit program

•         Performance of the team

Qualifications

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU BRING:

Education:

•         Chartered Accountant – CA (Preferred) or

•         Certified Public Accountant – CPA; or

•         Certified Internal Auditor – CIA

Experience:

•         8 to 10 years (post qualification/certification experience) of Internal Audit/ SOX Compliance/ Statutory Audit experience including atleast:

o   5 years of internal audit experience

o   5 years of team management experience

•         Knowledge of IIA standards and Information Technology General Controls will be an added advantage

•         Have excellent knowledge of the Internal Audit process and methodology

•         Be proficient in performing data analytics

•         Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal 

•         Be proficient with using various Microsoft products including Excel, Visio and Word

•         Prior experience in the US real estate or mortgage industry is preferred
