We are looking for a Team Lead, Mortgage Loan Closer with extensive residential mortgage closing experience to manage a growing department. The Team Lead is tasked with driving Operations, developing and delivering best-in-class services for both internal and external clients.  The Team Lead will manage the efficiency of a team of Closers, working to ensure your team closes a high volume of mortgage loan applications in compliance within the investor guidelines. What you will do...

• Manager the day to day closing pipeline, personnel management and all aspects related to the entire closing process.
• Monitor daily closing reports and ensure company policies and procedures are being followed by the closers, manage closing escalations.
• Maintain routine meetings with direct reports and deliver continuity meetings on a monthly basis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in the day to day with regard to loans in closing.
• Monitor quality control of the closing department.
• Create, document and train closing business process/checklist/procedures either solely or as part of larger project management team as a closing subject matter expert.

Skills you bring...

• A thorough knowledge of all closing guidelines, processes and procedures for the investors utilized in association with closing of the loans.
• Experience with adherence and compliance with mortgage industry practices.
• 5 plus years of Closing Manager experience
• 3 to 5 years loan Closing and Funding experience
• Thorough knowledge of all mortgage industry departments.
• Knowledge of loan documentation
