We are looking for a Team Lead, Mortgage Loan Processing. The Team Lead is tasked with driving Operations, developing and delivering best-in-class services for both internal and external clients. This is a great time to join the team and be a part of a growing and stable organization.

Job Description

What you get to do...

  • Mentor new loan processors and Monitor and train team to maintain required QC score
  • Ensure that the processors on your team maintain a minimum Timeline Exception, overseeing the daily management of aged loans report
  • Assist the loan processors with questions and issues on guidelines and loan files
  • Assist in daily pipeline management to include monitoring the following reports; Projected to Close, Timeline Exception, Loan Approval Conditions
  • Conduct in depth pipeline reviews with Loan Processors as needed (weekly or monthly)
  • Manage a pipeline with the highest possible level of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Key point of contact for Teams escalations and front line questions from the staff.
  • Coordinates with Processing Manager to ensure team goals and objectives are met. Assists Processing Manager with new employees, work with other stakeholders in the process.
  • Provides clear communication to processors, underwriters, mortgage professionals and borrowers regarding documents needed for mortgage loan files to ensure quick turnaround time. Provides training and assistance to Processors to help them improve their performance.
  • Identify and escalate potential fraud issues.
  • Stay current with regulations and industry that affect compliance and decision-making.

Qualifications

Skills you bring to the team....

  • Ability to build strong relationships with loan officers, underwriting, closing and other internal and external partners.
  • Expert level knowledge of federal, state, and regulatory requirements/guidelines related to consumer mortgage lending and internal processes and controls.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, short notice on changes and flexibility.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks for self and others in a deadline-driven environment; strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
