We are looking for an Underwriting Team Lead for the Origination team in to fully support portfolio volume.

What you will do....

• Manage underwriting pipeline maintenance and equitable delegation to the underwriting team
• Manage internal and external escalations with clients and internal executive management
• Ensure continuing education for the underwriting team on internal and client-related policy and procedure implementations and changes
• Build and maintain strong relationship with end-client executive management to ensure customer happiness and fulfillment
• Counsel and coach underwriting team on best practices, error resolution, and continued training and growth

Skills you bring...

• Extensive knowledge of Fannie and Freddie underwriting guidelines including appraisal, property, assets, credits, etc
• Strong knowledge of federal underwriting compliance procedures and underwriting best practices
• Excellent leadership skills and prior experience as a team lead of underwriters in a PPO environment
