 We are looking for a Mortgage Loan Underwriter with a passion for the mortgage industry to develop and manage client relations the Altisource umbrella. This is a great time to join the team and be a part of a growing and stable organization.

·       Maintain a working knowledge of US mortgage originations closing procedures, federal and state lending laws.

·       Interpret state rules, statute laws, federal regulations and investor guidelines and apply them to specific loans

·       Review of Prelim CD and fee sheet received from Title company and updating the LOS

·       Co-ordinating with the Title company to balance the closing disclosure

·       Has in depth knowledge of compliance tools and their fails & overrides

·       Prepare initial Closing Disclosure for the mortgage transaction

·       Review the signed closing package, closing documents and critical funding documents for a funding authorization

·       Perform the loan closing function for a pipeline of transactions in accordance with agency policies and procedures, including the collection of loan closing conditions necessary for the closing and disbursement of a residential first mortgage transaction

·       Effectively communicate with the US based Underwriters/Clients and SMEs to ensure quality output
