We are looking for a Business Process Engineer to help support the dynamic real estate services lines of business and provide counsel directly to business leadership on legal, regulatory, business and operational issues. 

Job Description

Enhance Altisource’s reputation by creating new and improved processes to create the title and closing services of the future.

• Build and maintain metrics and KPIs that best measure operational performance and and hold team accountable for those metrics on a consistent basis, and reporting on these metrics to leadership team.  Leverage these metrics to drive daily production and meet all client SLAs.

• Manage team of managers and team leads who oversee associates as they work through Title Processing and Inventory Management for the Premium Title Services

• Manage individuals and provide support for escalated issues that arise and ensure pipeline coverage.

• Build out a team of multiple offices and remote employees (where required) operating in multiple states.

• Build relationships with clients, agents and underwriters daily and provide guidance to agents and consumers on all aspects of escrow and title.

• Overseeing operations from the applications process through conveyancing, closing, accounting, and post-closing.

• Making staffing changes as necessary including conducting interviews, touch-base meetings with current staff and terminating when necessary.

• Following up on accounting matters such as uncleared checks and escrow balances.

• Maintaining quality control to ensure CFPB, RESPA, and Best Practice Compliance. Works with training and compliance to ensure high quality training and job readiness.

• Work with our Compliance team to ensure we meet compliance in all aspects of company policies and procedures, escrow rules and regulations across multiple state boundaries.

• Create quarterly/annual personal development plans, coaching, feedback and written counseling if needed for title, settlement, and escrow teams.

• Support all branches in maintaining a high level of service and satisfaction to clients.

• Maintain high standard of confidentiality.

• Work with our technology teams to scope the future of residential title and closing services using the very latest tools.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of operations and business management experience leading title, trust, and settlement operations
  • The ability to assess and coach other employees to improve their processes and performance in a fast-paced, growing company
  • Develop clear and concise goals and growth plans for multiple offices in multiple geographies
  • Love to win, and have a passion for streamlining processes and helping teams work smarter. 
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and communication skills
  • Experience and success managing and engaging remote employees
  • Experience negotiating with internal and external business partners
  • Experience managing budgets with the ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable insights
  • An analytical data-driven approach to tackling business challenges in an effort to eliminate roadblocks
  • Full understanding of CFPB, RESPA, and Best Practice  - Licenses/Certifications a plus
  • Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
