Job Description

Over all 7+yrs of Experience with Cloud Computing Solution Architect, Scripting, Automation, Security Services, and Team Management experience

  • Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Participate and take a lead role in the planning, implementation, and growth of the infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  2. Work with the larger design team to develop a Cloud Solution.
  3. Manage full application stacks from the OS through custom applications using Amazon cloud-based computing environments.
  4. Work closely with the architect and engineers to design networks, systems, and storage environments that effectively reflect business needs, security requirements, and service level requirements.
  5. Manage a continuous integration/continuous deployment methodology for the server-based technologies.
  6. Work with engineering and architecture teams to design and implement scalable software services.
  7. Experience designing and building web application environments on AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, etc.
  8. Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, Artifactory.
  9. Experience with Linux and Windows Server system administration.
  10. Ability to create and utilize AWS Cloud Formation templates
  11. Proficient in developing scripts and scripting languages.
  12. A team player capable of high performance, flexibility in a dynamic working environment, and the ability to lead.
  13. Skill and ability to train others on technical and procedural topics.

    Key Metrics:

    1. Oversee vulnerabilities and patching process and ensure they completed/ remediated as per policy timeline.

    2. Ensure inputs are provided to G&C team in timely manner, No vulnerabilities should be without date/past due date

    3. Risk/Exception should be submitted with all required information and should be approved before policy timeline and RSAM requests should be closed within time lines

    4. Actively engage in design and architecture discussions, validate the proposed solution

    5.  Ensure the assigned tasks for Team are completed within timelines and meets the project deadlines 

    6. Mentoring and coaching the team, enable cross skilling for team efficiency

    7. Feedback and Interaction with BU, peers and other teams

    8. Leadership on Incidents, projects and discussions

     

     

    Qualifications

    Bachelors or any Equivalent degree
