Job Description

A global corporate group based in South Dublin have appointed Alternatives as search partner for the appointment of Data Protection & Data Privacy Officer. This is a senior mandate incorporating customer and employee data governance as well as the provision of GDPR regulation. Reporting into the senior group data protection leader.

This is a signifcant mandate focused on best in class data privacy operations with a razor sharp focus on ensuring customer data is not only protected but valued in line with ongoing commitments customer experience.

You’ll be responsible for delivering privacy governance, compliance and regulatory initiatives both internally and externally whilst playing a proactive and key role in ensuring that all data controllers are supported and engaged in cutting edge compliance and data privacy regulatory programmes.

This is a hugely exciting time to join the business as they embark on change projects; rolling out global privacy programmes in the Irish operation.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role you will need to be:
An exceptional communicator and stakeholder manager
Deeply aware of the significance and practical applications of the GDPR from a pan EU perspective
Excited by the prospect of engaging, training and encouraging senior management teams
Diverserly experiences in data protection and data privacy initiatives
Process driven and hugely attentive to detail and specificity
