Description
We are looking for a Finance Professional (Qualified CA & CPA) with 3-4 years of experience. Candidate should have exposure to independently managing the finances and compliances of a dual corporate structure (USA<>India)
Day to Day Accounting & Financial Operations
- Ensure books of accounts are correct and up to date at all times.
- Preparation of monthly & annual financials, MIS and Board Reports.
- Help in setting Company targets, monitoring and ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Facilitate purchase requisition and expense review & approval
Tax & Secretarial Compliances
- Coordinating with various consultants and ensuring compliance with US local, state, and federal government requirements
- Taking care of Indian Tax Compliances (GST, TDS) including all reconciliations and Secretarial Compliances - RoC & RBI Filings
- Coordinating with Consultants for timely payroll accounting, payments and compliances with Indian Labour Laws (Provident Fund, Profession Tax)
Funds Management
- Lead & manage cash flow, budget & scenario planning
- Managing Working Capital - Receivables and Payables
- Maintain Relationships with Indian & US Bankers
Budgeting & MIS
- Identify, measure, analyze and report upon SaaS KPI (key performance indicators)
- Build, deploy and improve systems & control for spending, capital allocation, forecasting, & annual budgeting.
- Prepare and Maintain Company's Budget. Report on Variances from the Established Budget
- Prepare and Report Monthly, Quarterly and Annual MIS to Management and Investors
Audit and Due-diligences
- Owner and Key Point of Contact for Statutory Audits and Due Diligence Requirements from Investors/Potential Investors
Process Management
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Manage outsourced functions
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant with experience managing a dual corporate structure (USA<>India)
- Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, financial controls, and procedures
- Exposure to US State and Local Sales & Use Tax Compliance activities
- Knowledge of Indian Direct & Indirect Tax Compliances - GST, TDS, etc.
- Knowledge of Indian Company’s Audit & Secretarial Compliance Processes
- Exceptionally strong Microsoft Excel financial modeling skills
- Strong Experience with Quickbooks Online, Zoho, Tally, or any other Accounting ERP
- Independent & Hands-on Contributor with experience working in a dynamic, high-tech software enterprise.
- Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills.
Nice-To-Have:
- Knowledge of Financial & Tax SaaS Systems - SaaSOptics, Chargebee, Vertex, Avalara, Sovos, Expensify
