We are seeking a Senior System Design Engineer with strong technical expertise in system software and IT infrastructure. The role involves designing, validating, and supporting complex systems while ensuring compliance with requirements and optimizing performance. You will also contribute to innovation, incident resolution, and documentation, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into system designs.
• Evaluate design benefits, trade-offs, and validate compliance.
• Support deployment and ensure requirements are met.
• Use development tools to address technical challenges, including capacity management and performance optimization.
• Innovate and propose improvements to existing systems and processes.
• Maintain technical documentation and perform root cause analysis for complex incidents.
• Participate in on-call duties for systems under your responsibility.

Technical Focus Areas

• Maintain and optimize Jenkins pipelines (Java-based framework).
• Monitor and apply Jenkins updates, plugin upgrades, and security advisories.
• Troubleshoot build failures and pipeline issues.
• Upgrade and maintain Eclipse IDE on Windows.
• Document pipeline processes and configurations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system design and IT infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+).
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines in UNIX environments.
• Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, including plugin management.
• Knowledge of build tools such as Ant and Maven.
• Understanding of Web Services (SOAP) and SCM tools (Git, Subversion).
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release pipelines.
