About the Role
As an Infrastructure Architect, you’ll play a key role in our client, a big player in insurance, IT infrastructure integration project, focusing on migrating recently acquired systems to their Windows-based infrastructure. This migration involves analyzing and documenting around 60 applications over the course of 2025, ensuring a seamless transition with no impact on the end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of 60 applications, designing the infrastructure needed to support them on our client systems.
• Develop detailed ArchiMate architectural designs for the applications.
• Collaborate closely with our client technical teams to plan and execute the migration, handling on-premises Windows and Linux integrations.
• Maintain documentation for all aspects of the migration, ensuring transparency and consistency.
• Regularly communicate with development teams, users, and the project leader, keeping them updated on project status.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure architecture, with broad knowledge of network protocols, Windows systems, Linux basics, and ERP.
• Generalist profile, with a strong “helicopter view” approach to end-to-end infrastructure design.
• Familiarity with security protocols (basic understanding of firewall ports, authentication, authorization).
• Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

Desirable

• Experience with Office 365, Teams, and on-premise infrastructure
• Basic knowledge of Palo Alto and Cisco (training provided if needed)

Languages

Fluent French and English required; Dutch is a plus
