Job Description

  • Installing, managing & Maintaining OpenShift Infrastructure - multiple OpenShift clusters to manage across virtual, and cloud environments (installation, configuration, upgrades etc.)
  • Monitoring and optimizing performance, capacity and availability of OpenShift environments
  • Acting as 2nd Line of Support in the area of OpenShift, container orchestration, networking, storage, and security. This includes standby duty (on-call rotation) for 24/7 support for critical production systems
  • Collaborating closely with other teams (infrastructures, networks, systems etc.) and supporting development teams (i.e. containerizing apps)
  • Researching, preparing and implementing changes to OpenShift enviroment: task automation, efficiency, security, and reliability
  • Producing administration and maintenance documentation of the OpenShift infrastructure

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Linux system administrator, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Minimum 3 years experience directly working in an OpenShift environment
  • Expertise in container orchestration frameworks such as OpenShift
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and experience with cloud-based deployments
  • Expertise in troubleshooting OpenShift issues (orchestration, storage, security etc.)
  • Expertise in monitoring and optimizing OpenShift system performance, capacity and availability
  • Strong automation knowledge, proficient in Ansible


Nice to have:

  • Valid Red Hat Certfified System Administrator or Red Hat Certified System Engineer certification
  • Valid Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator certification
  • Experience with database administration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar languages
  • Valid Personal Security Clearance at EU CONFIDENTIAL or above level is very valuable
