Join Alter Solutions Portugal as a Python Developer! We are looking for a talented individual to help us maintain and implement new applications while coaching junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend solutions using Python.
• Apply knowledge of design patterns and solution architecture.
• Work with databases, including querying, modeling, optimizing, and ORM's.
• Proficient with GIT and either GitLab or Azure.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

• >4 years of Python Development: Extensive backend development experience.
• >3 years of Database Experience: Proficient with databases and ORM's.
• Experience with Agile (SCRUM): Familiar with Agile methodologies.
• Restful Services Development: Proficient in creating Restful Services.
• Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines: Familiar with CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent in English: Strong communication skills in English.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Unit Testing Experience: Familiar with unit testing frameworks.
• DevOps Mindset: Knowledge or experience in DevOps practices.
• CI/CD Pipelines Development: Experience developing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Other Technologies: Familiarity with Typescript, React, Angular, or Node.js.
