Job Description

As a Public Relations Assistant, you will provide administrative and communications support to the public relations team. You will assist with media communications, coordinate promotional activities, prepare written materials, and help maintain a positive public image for the organization. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining positive relationships with media contacts and community partners.
  • Prepare press releases, newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Support the planning and coordination of events, campaigns, and public outreach initiatives.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile reports on public relations activities.
  • Help maintain consistent brand messaging across communications.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications as assigned.
  • Conduct research to support marketing and public relations strategies.
  • Provide administrative support for ongoing communication projects.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communication efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the communications team.
