Sharpcontra is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Events Assistant to support our Events Management Team. The ideal candidate will assist in planning and coordinating events from inception to completion, ensuring all logistical and operational elements run smoothly. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a passion for events and client success.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of corporate and promotional events
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal departments
Support event setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics
Track event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Assist with registration, guest communications, and event materials
Maintain detailed records and post-event reports
Troubleshoot issues during events to ensure high-quality outcomes
Perform administrative tasks related to event planning and budgeting
Qualifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or administrative support
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Availability to occasionally work evenings or weekends during major events
