Swift 7 Consultants is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic team in Akron. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of corporate events, conferences, and client meetings. Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating event logistics, including scheduling, vendor communication, and venue arrangements
Prepare event materials such as agendas, signage, and participant lists
Support on-site event management, including setup, registration, and guest services
Monitor event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met
Maintain accurate records of budgets, expenditures, and vendor contracts
Collaborate with team members to execute events that align with client expectations and brand standards
Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare summary reports
Qualifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred
At least 1 year of experience in event planning, hospitality, or administrative support
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
