Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our growing team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage transactions efficiently, and help maintain an organized checkout experience. This position plays a key role in supporting our day-to-day operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all cash, credit, and check transactions accurately

• Provide outstanding customer service at the point of sale

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station

• Assist customers with questions, returns, or price checks

• Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations

• Follow company policies and procedures for security and compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior cashier or retail experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic math and computer skills

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
